Griffon vulture (Gyps fulvus), 2cy, 19 June 2021, Nordby Bakker, Samsø
This Griffon vulture has been seen in Nordby Bakker on Samsø since 12 June 2021. It seems that the "fingerprint" formed by various damages to the flight feathers, stage of feather moult and the distribution of white and dark feathers confirms that the same individual was seen in Skagen in the most northern part of Jutland on 5-6 June and later in the oppsite end of the country on the south end of Langeland on 8 June. Then it migrated north again to appear on the north end of Samsø where these photoes and videos were taken. Where will it turn up next time?
